When choosing who to vote for, the most important things for me are the issues that a candidate is championing and their history on those issues. I want a candidate who is both principled and consistent in their views and actions. I see both of those things and more in Chenoa Summers and think she would be an excellent representative for Northeast Arkansas, and Jonesboro in particular. The issues that Chenoa backs, especially fair representation for all people, are very important to me. I am also really excited to see someone in local politics who is educated in the sciences and can champion education in Arkansas.
I support and will be voting for Chenoa Summers for Arkansas State Senate representing district 20 because she's a candidate that truly cares about the health, well-being, representation, and educational advancement of ALL Arkansans. She is an incredible ally and advocate for the LGBTQIA+ community who have - in the past - been silenced, overlooked, and shunned by the rhetoric & actions of members of the Arkansas state governing body. With Chenoa, ALL voices matter.
Intelligence, integrity and determination are the three key factors I look for in a political candidate. Chenoa Summers exemplifies all of these and more. Through conversation with her, I have always been impressed by her intelligence and knowledge of a wide variety of subjects. She stands behind her word even if it isn’t the popular vote. Her determination to fight for equality for all is second to none. Chenoa Summers is a breath of fresh air that Arkansas needs and deserves.
Chenoa represents everything that will move Arkansas forward, which we desperately need to do. I like to say she values the four E's - Education, Equal rights for everyone, Empathy, and the Environment - all of which are not only important to me, but to the future of our shared society. Chenoa is the kind of person who will listen to everyone, not just those who agree with her. She will do her best to consider everyone's point of view and make decisions that are what's best for Arkansas, and our nation. Chenoa has my full confidence, and I have never been more excited to vote for anyone! Please consider voting for the way forward this November! Vote for Chenoa!
